TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is offering a limited number of no-cost vaccinations at their annual Free Shot Clinic on Saturday.
The event will provide free vaccines for the first 1,000 dogs at River Tower Park.
The free shots are for Distemper/Parvovirus (DA2PP) and Rabies.
Dogs must be at least 8 weeks old to receive the DA2PP vaccines and at least 3 months old to get vaccinated for rabies.
All dogs must be on leashes, and there is a limit of four pets per household. Litters of puppies will not be vaccinated; only individual puppies will be accepted.
Event organizers said the line will form early.
Cats are not permitted at the event for their safety, the Humane Society said.
