Independence Day celebration Sunday in Lakeland

- People in Lakeland interested in celebrating Independence Day a little early are gathering for "Red, White & Kaboom."

Clemons Road and opening act FOUST are entertaining the crowd ahead of a fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.

The evening is free to the public and everyone attending is encouraged to bring at least one non-perishable food item to benefit "Chow for Now."
