Driver dies after crashing into Wesley Chapel pond

- A man is dead after officials say he had a seizure and drove his car into a pond at Wesley Chapel Park Monday evening.

Members of the Fire Department and Sheriff's Office were on scene minutes after the 1st 911 call and were able to rescue 2 passengers. They were not injured

The 22-year-old driver was trapped under the water for a length of time. He was transported to the hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
