Job fair seeks to fill 200 positions at TIA

- A big job fair is set to take place at the Tampa International Airport today.

It runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority Board Room on the third level of the main terminal, and aims to fill more than 200 positions for all the new concessions the airport is bringing in.

Those on the staff-seeking list include food and beverage companies like Hard Rock Café, P.F. Chang’s, Four Green Fields and The Gasparilla Bar, as well as retailers like The Paradies Shop, Stellar Partners and Newslink of Tampa.

They’re looking for everything from cooks to sales associates, so a wide range of skillsets is welcomed.

The event is all part of the airport's $1 billion renovation project that is currently underway.
