Lecanto wrong-way crash kills two drivers

- Two drivers were killed in a fiery wrong-way crash Sunday night in Citrus County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Julie Hanselman of Dunnellon was traveling westbound on eastbound West Gulf to Lake Highway.  Just east of South Leona Avenue, she slammed head-on into an oncoming car.

Both vehicles then caught fire.

Hanselman, 48, was killed, as was the driver in the other car, identified by troopers at Carman Howe, 47.

Troopers could not immediately say why Hanselman was in the wrong lane.
