Man charged with attempted murder in Pinellas shooting

- The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said a man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting.

The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at 10387 Gandy Boulevard, which is a small shopping plaza. 

The victim was identified as 25-year-old Tyler McNett. Deputies said he was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, but is reported to be in stable condition.

Detectives have issued an arrest warrant for the suspect, 29-year-old Tony Thongdeng. He is being charged with second-degree attempted murder.

Deputies have not said what led up to the shooting.
