Man killed in head-on crash

- A Tampa man died in a head-on crash early this morning.

According to the sheriff's office, it was just before 6 a.m. when Dwight Bradley Thomas was headed westbound on Joe Ebert Road when he veered into the eastbound lane. 

Thomas' Honda Accord slammed head-on into a Mitsubishi Galant near the intersection with Bloomfield Ridge Place.  Thomas, 66, died at the scene.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was taken to Tampa General with serious injuries.
