MISSING: 10-year-old girl missing out of Bradenton

Officials need the public's help in finding a missing girl out of Bradenton, Florida.

A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert was issued just before 1:30 a.m. for 10-year-old Emma Mischaud, who was last seen in the 4000 block of 47th Street West, near the Palm Cove Apartments.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says Mischaud is likely with 46-year-old Suzanne Knight, and traveling in a 2016 red Toyota RAV4 with Connecticut tag number AD23238.

Lieutenant James Rackey with the Bradenton Police Department says Knight is Mischaud's mother, and that she took off with her after an altercation with her son and his wife.

The son, wife and daughter had reportedly just driven down from Connecticut and when they arrived at the apartment complex, they said Knight tried to hit her son's wife before she left with the girl.

Now detectives want to make sure both Knight and Mischaud are safe. They have released the following descriptions of them, and ask anyone with information on their whereabouts to call 941-932-9301 or 911.
