Missing Tampa children found safe

- Three children who went missing after their mother took them from their daycare almost two weeks ago have been found.

Previously the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said the four Tampa children were last seen at the daycare on December 20.

Investigators said their biological mother, 27-year-old Gilbrina Longworth removed them before a Child Protective Services investigator could make contact with them.

After an alert was issued Wednesday morning, Israel was found safe. Deputies would not elaborate on how or where.

Later Wednesday, deputies said the other three children were found and were safe.
