Missing man found dead in bay

- Deputies in Pinellas County say the body of a missing 64-year-old man was found floating in Boca Ciega Bay this morning.

Detectives say Kenneth Curry was reported missing by family members Sunday night.  He had last been seen driving his mobility scooter not far from his home on La Plaza Avenue in St. Pete.

It was just after 7:30 a.m. when police in St. Pete were called about a body in the water near the MarineMax boat marina.  The body was later identified as Curry.

Investigators say Curry suffered from multiple medical ailments and was not taking his prescribed medication. They say the circumstances surrounding his death do not appear suspicious but the official cause of death will have to be determined by an autopsy.
