Mother of baby Chance faces judge in Sarasota

Kristen Bury, the mother of Chance Walsh, attended her first court appearance at the Sarasota County Jail Saturday morning.
Bury faces one count of 1st-degree felony murder and one count of child neglect in connection with the disappearance and death of her nine-week-old son, Chance.
The 32-year-old was ordered to be held at the jail with no bond.
On Thursday, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said deputies found the body of an infant, believed to be that of Chance, in a wooded area 13 miles from the family's North Port home.
Chance's father, 36-year-old Joseph Walsh, also faces child neglect charges and is expected to be booked into the Sarasota County Jail on Sunday or Monday.
