North Port dog 'howls' alongside emergency police sirens

- A North Port dog seemed to have transformed into a werewolf in time for Halloween.

Police within the city were responding within hearing distance of 10-year-old German Shepherd, named “Jenny,” who decided to help by letting her owners know there was an emergency near their home.

In video shared by North Port police on the agency’s Facebook page, it sounds as though Jenny could be howling at the moon, but in this case, she was howling alongside the police sirens.

The agency wrote, “Calling all cars...and K9s. We appreciate the help from 10-year-old German Shepard "Jenny" who likes to let her North Port owners know were on an emergency call. Good girl. #k9call.”
