Authorities in Largo are investigating a fire that left one person dead on Saturday morning.

The fire broke out at a mobile home on Laurel Avenue shortly before 6 a.m.

Other residents of the mobile home park were outside walking around 5:36 a.m., when they saw smoke and flames coming from the mobile home at lot #163. Multiple fire rescue units from Largo Fire Rescue, Pinellas Suncoast Fire Rescue and Seminole Fire Rescue responded to put out the flames.

According to officials, one person was found dead inside the home.  Detectives say the victim is 66-year-old Joseph Pratico.

Detectives say the mobile home was fully engulfed and is a total loss. There were three other mobile homes in the vicinity of the fire, which also sustained minor to moderate heat damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but authorities do not believe it is suspicious in nature.
