One dead in Polk County traffic crash
LAKE WALES (FOX 13) - One person is dead from a two-vehicle crash in Polk County.
Deputies are on scene of the crash located at Highway 60 and Sam Keen Road, just east of Lake Wales. The crash occurred around 7:20 a.m. The eastbound lanes of Highway 60 are closed and traffic is being diverted to the westbound lanes.
Polk County deputies advise drivers to avoid the area. It’s unclear when roads are expected to reopen.
