One killed after falling off motorcycle on Selmon Expressway, troopers say

- One person has died following a motorcycle accident, where a rider fell off, and the driver didn't stop, trooper say.

Florida Highway Patrol said shortly after midnight on Monday morning, a motorcycle carrying two people was heading west on the Selmon Expressway. Near the 50th street exit, one of those riders, 20-year-old Taylor Liebe of Tampa, fell off of the motorcycle, and the driver continued traveling west.

The passenger fell and collided with a guardrail, troopers say. Investigators tracked the motorcycle down a short time later at the Oaks of Woodland Park, at 4747 West Waters Avenue, nearly nine miles away from the accident. No arrests have been made, troopers say.

The name of the victim has not been released.
