One killed in boating accident in Sarasota

- Investigators say the driver of a boat died in a boating accident in Sarasota Bay.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers said the vessel's operator and a passenger were ejected when the driver tried to make a turn around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The passenger was able to swim to shore, but the boat's operator was found dead.

Their identities have not yet been released.

FWC officers are investigating.
