One Tank Trip: Bok Tower Gardens

- It remains one of the most unique and beautiful places I have ever seen, high up on a hill in Lake Wales, Bok Tower Gardens.

All these years later, the Singing Tower still sings.  T

They say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."  But somehow, some way, though, they have managed to improve on Edward Bok's vision.

According to Bok's David Price, a lot of thought went into the new gardens at Bok. "Five years ago, we started a master plan. What you see is five or six years of hard work," Price said.

The new gardens really are extraordinary.  There is a pollinator garden, an outdoor kitchen, a children's garden and eco-system gardens.

All of it is designed to make Bok Tower Gardens better, yet still stick to the original mission of Edward Bok.  Conservation, beauty and education.

On Saturday, there will be a dedication of the new gardens.  Admission for that day will be free.
