Pasco armed robbery linked to other cases

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they say used a gun to rob a Zephyrhills store, and this might not be his only crime.

Deputies responded to the Metro PCS on Gall Blvd. in Zephyrhills Saturday evening for a report of an armed robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’06” – 5’09”, light colored hair, thin build, and in his 20’s. He was wearing dark clothing including mask and gloves. The suspect might have a tattoo on the rear left side of his neck.

Officials say this could be the same person suspected of 2 other armed robberies in the area. Just last week, Deputies investigated armed robberies at a Citgo Gas Station and a Best Western, both located in Wesley Chapel.

The workers inside the hotel were held at gunpoint, 1 of them was shot at. No one was injured, but the Sheriff's Office wants to get the atacker before someone is hurt.

"The suspect is brazen and does not care about his victims," says Amy Marinec, spokeswoman for Pasco County Sheriff's Office. "He is firing his weapon at those victims, we want to catch this guy as son as possible.
