Pasco County deputies believe two men are on a violent armed robbery spree that may have begun in Hillsborough County.

Sheriff Chris Nocco tells FOX 13 his detectives are working at least three armed robberies or armed robbery attempts. Investigators are comparing notes with Hillsborough County deputies, who reported an armed robbery attempt at 1 a.m. Wednesday at the Papa John's off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard near New Tampa.

Nocco believes that same pair of criminals are also responsible for another attempted armed robbery at a Lutz Taco Bell about an hour later. Detectives believe the pair then robbed a CVS Pharmacy around 6 a.m. in Wesley Chapel, before robbing a Mobil off State Road 54 in Lutz in broad daylight.

"These are very violent individuals," offered Nocco.

Nocco says each time the robbers are growing more bold and more unpredictable.

"We're thankful nobody's been hurt but we know in these type of situations, in a split-second, somebody could lose their life or be seriously injured. That's why we take these cases extremely seriously," said Nocco.

Deputies believe the criminals are using a getaway car which is small, blue and has two doors. Anyone with information is asked to call the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
