Pasco library volunteer accused of molesting 14-year-old
LAND O' LAKES (FOX 13) - A library volunteer has been accused of molesting a child while at the Land O’ Lakes Branch Library.
Pasco County deputies say they arrested 19-year-old Austin West. On May 9, the sheriff’s office said West told the 14-year-old victim to pull down his shorts at the library. He also offered oral sex, but the victim declined and “felt scared and pressured” by West, according to an arrest affidavit.
Deputies said there were four other minors present during the act, and all described similar versions of what occurred. West told them to look away, they added.
West was arrested on a lewd and lascivious molestation charge.
