Pasco man injured hand in New Year's Eve fireworks mishap, fire officials say

- A 30-year-old man in Dade City was transported to the hospital after a fireworks accident Monday night.

Pasco County fire officials responded to a home near 17th Street and Marshall Drive around 9:27 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. They said the man had injuries to his hand.

He was transported as a trauma alert to Lakeland Regional Hospital. No other information was provided.
