Pedestrian fatally struck in Pinellas Park

- Pinellas Park police officers are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on Saturday.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. on the 4300 block of 118th Avenue North.

According to detectives, the female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that was traveling westbound on 118th Avenue North. The circumstances of the crash are unclear.

The driver of the vehicle, an adult male, remained at the scene and is cooperating.

The victim has not been publicly identified pending next of kin notification.
