Pedestrian killed after being hit by two cars in Clearwater

- A man was killed in Clearwater Monday night as he was crossing Court Street between Missouri Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue.

Clearwater police say he was not in a crosswalk.

The pedestrian got struck by a westbound car and then run over by another westbound car.  The pedestrian appears to be a middle-aged male.  He appeared to be alone.

According to Clearwater Police, both cars involved in the accident stayed at the scene and neither driver appears to be impaired.
