Playful dolphin baby flips tail at canoeist

- An adorable baby dolphin and its mother played as a canoeist paddled through the waters near Fort Desoto.

Michael McCarthy was ready with his GoPro while canoeing in the Bay and came upon a mother and baby dolphin who were ready to play.

The younger dolphin swam back and forth between its elder and the canoe, which happened to be -conveniently - completely clear.  McCarthy said he made a few noises to attract the dolphins, but the baby's flapping fin was more than he expected.

After a few passes, as well as some water flipped into McCarthy's canoe, the two swam away.
