Pro-cop bumper stickers prove popular

- Bumper stickers and signs showing support for Sarasota police and deputies have been going fast.

Adam Nitterauer, owner of Sarasota Sign Machine, decided to print up some signs showing support to local law enforcement officers after the Dallas shooting.  Soon after, friends and strangers began asking him for copies.

Over the last two days he's printed out more than 1,100 bumper stickers.  He says they are going fast; he only has about 300 left and he's printing more.

Adam's father was a local officer and he hopes his small gesture will make others think.

"I just wanted to show my support to the deputies, the men and women in blue, to let them know, 'Hey look, I got your back.' And the more people that put these on their cars on their businesses, it shows the community really, really supports our men and women," he explained.

The sign shop is also working on shirts to support Sarasota officers and deputies.   Money from the shirts sold will also go to the Sarasota Police Foundation.

You can pick up a bumper sticker or sign for free at Sarasota Sign Machine off of 301 in Sarasota.
