Rescue drill in downtown Tampa

- Police boats and helicopters from all over the Bay Area rushed to the rescue this afternoon.  But it was all just a test.

The Coast Guard and local law enforcement joined in a mock air and water rescue as part of an annual homeland security conference.

The demo took place right in front of the Tampa Convention Center.  That area is pretty familiar with these mock drills.  Just last month, U.S. Special Operations Command took part in a mock hostage situation near the convention center.  They even used Mayor Bob Buckhorn as one of the hostages.

Six agencies took part in today's drill.
