Resident severely burned in Clearwater condo fire

- Authorities in Clearwater said a resident suffered severe burns in a condominium fire on Sunday.

The fire broke out in a unit at the Seville condo complex near Clearwater Mall shortly before 11 a.m.

Fire officials said a female burn victim had to be flown to a hospital and has life-threatening injuries.

It's unclear what caused the fire, which is under investigation. The victim has not been publicly identified.
