Sandbags available ahead of Tropical Depression 9

- Sandbags are available for Bay Area residents ahead of possible heavy rain in the coming days.

Hillsborough County officials are making sandbags available Tuesday at three sites:

-9805 Sheldon Road, Tampa
-8718 Old Big Bend Road, Gibsonton
-4702 Sydney Road, Plant City

In Tampa, residents can pick up sandbags at three locations from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday:

-Bobby Hicks Pool - 4201 W. Mango Avenue
-Barksdale Active Adult Center at MacFarlane Park - 1801 N. Lincoln Avenue
-Jackson Heights Community Center - 3310 E. Lake Avenue

Pinellas County is making sandbags available again Wednesday at the following three locations:

-John Chesnut Sr. Park - 2200 East Lake Road in Palm Harbor
-Lealman Community Park - 3890 55th Avenue N. in St. Petersburg
-Taylor Park, - 1100 8th Avenue SW in Largo

Sandbags will be limited to 20 per person. Material and bags will be supplied. Residents must fill their own sandbags. Shovels will be available.

The city of St. Petersburg will have sandbags for residents from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the following locations:

-Northeast Park - 875 62nd Avenue NE
-Bartlett Park (Frank W. Pierce Recreation Center) - 22nd Avenue S. between 6th and 7th streets
Sandbags at those locations are limited to 10 bags per resident, and staff will be on hand to assist seniors and others who may be unable to fill and load their own sandbags. Proof of residence in the city of St. Petersburg is required.
Tarpon Springs is also offering sandbags to residents at three locations on Tuesday:
-Dorsett Park - 500 E. Harrison Street
-Splash Park - 508 E. Live Oak Street
-Roosevelt Boulevard Roundabout at Dodecanese Avenue
Manatee County officials are offering sandbags at several locations:
-Buffalo Creek Park - 7550 69th Street E, Palmetto           
-G.T. Bray Park - 5502 33rd Ave Drive W, Bradenton
-Lakewood Ranch Park - 5350 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, Bradenton
-Stormwater Ops - 5511 39th Street E, Bradenton                      
-Rubonia Community Center - 1309 72nd Street E, Palmetto                              

In Pasco County, residents can obtain sandbags Tuesday at multiple sites:

-West Pasco Government Center - 7356 State Street, New Port Richey
-C-Barn - 30908 Warder Road, San Antonio
-Veterans Memorial Park - 14333 Hicks Road, Hudson
-Mitchell Park, 4825 Little Road - New Port Richey
-Land O' Lakes Rec Center - 3032 Collier Parkway, Land O' Lakes
-Fire station - 6907 Dairy Road, Zephyrhills
-6240 Pine Hill Road, New Port Richey
-38042 Pasco Avenue, Dade City
In Sarasota County, sandbags will be available from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the following locations:
-Newtown Estates Park - 2800 Newtown Boulevard, Sarasota
-Twin Lakes Park - 6700 Clark Road, Sarasota
-South county fleet facility - 4571 Englewood Road, Venice
Hernando County is making sandbags available at one location:
-Fire station #1 - 1479 Parker Avenue, Spring Hill
