Sarasota burglar eats sandwich, drinks milk before stealing cash, police say

SARASOTA (FOX 13) - Sarasota police are searching for a man who burglarized a cafe at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.  

The incident occurred on October 23 around 1:15 a.m. Detectives released surveillance video showing the unidentified man rummaging through a cooler, eating a sandwich, drinking milk from a jug and stealing cash from the register.

Detectives described the suspect as a male, approximately 30 years old. He was seen wearing a white v-neck shirt. It's unclear how he entered the cafe, which is located at 900 South Palms Avenue. There is no word on how much cash was stolen.
