Sarasota police investigate Centennial Park drowning

- Police in Sarasota say they are investigating a drowning at the 10th Street Boat Ramp at Centennial Park.

It was around 2:15 when police were called about someone in the water.  When they arrived, they found the body of a female victim.  No other details were immediately available.

The boat ramp is closed while detectives investigate.  Boaters are asked to use Ken Thompson Park across the bay in the meantime.
