School bus crash in Hernando County

BROOKSVILLE (FOX 13) - A school bus crash occurred in Hernando County Tuesday morning.

Authorities said the crash happened at Mondon Hill and Weatherly roads around 6 a.m.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a car crashed into the back of the school bus. The driver of the car was seriously injured and airlifted to the hospital.

The bus had only two passengers at the time, one of whom was a student. No one on the bus was injured.
