Seagull rescued after getting stuck in a vehicle's grill

- A seagull had to be rescued after it found an unusual place to nest.

The bird was found inside the grill of an SUV after it was struck by a car, according to the Bradenton Police Department. Animal services officers managed to help it get out.

Detective Lixa Moyett took apart a few pieces of the grill, then freed the seagull, which has a minor wing injury.

Officials said after a little recuperating, he will be as good as new.
