Search for convenience store robbery suspect

- Detectives in Hillsborough County are trying to identify the robbery suspect seen in these surveillance photos.  Authorities say the man pictures is responsible for two separate commercial robberies in Dover.

The first happened Friday around 4:00 a.m. at the 7-11 on East State Road 60, and the second happened around 2:00 Saturday morning at the Circle K just a few blocks away.  In both cases, detectives say the suspect attempted to make a purchase, then smashed the clerks in the head with a small object and took money from the open cash drawer.

It's believed the suspect may be driving a red or maroon colored pickup truck with a tool box in the back.

Anyone with any information in reference to this suspect is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of this suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
