Search for suspect in shooting that left one dead, one injured

- The Polk County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect in a shooting that left one man dead and another critically injured in Winter Haven. 

Deputies are searching for 36-year-old James Steven "Spooky" Williams, who was an on-and-off roommate with the victims.

Deputies found Nasir Sutton, 23, dead with a gunshot wound Sunday night at a home on Carefree Cove Dr., and Bennie Joyner, 38, injured with a gunshot wound. 

Joyner was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition. 

Deputies believe Williams shot the two during an argument and fled the area. 

Anyone who has information about where Williams is should call 863-298-6200 right away or Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS to be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous.
