Captured Hernando armed robbery suspect identified

BROOKSVILLE (FOX 13) - A manhunt has ended in Hernando County after one of two suspects in an armed robbery was captured Wednesday.

It all started Tuesday when two men reportedly robbed the Dollar General on Sherman Hills Boulevard.  Hours later, deputies shot and killed one of the suspects in Brooksville.  He has since been identified as Michael Hilber.

The other suspect got away, and deputies spent the night searching for him.

Just after 10 a.m., the sheriff's office announced that Derek Kelley had been "captured without incident."

Detectives believe the pair may be connected to the robbery of a Subway restaurant in Sarasota.
