Cocktail waitresses have always been at the center of the casino business, but that will soon change at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa as they set out to hire dozens of male servers in the near future.

A run of the numbers showed that women account for more than half of the casino’s customers, and therefore this change will target those guests.

They’ll soon see 50 men walking the casino floor as beverage servers. Employees held a job fair Wednesday and received several job applications.

The Hard Rock is not the only casino with male servers. The Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey also hired male servers several years ago.

So what will they wear?

According to the Hard Rock, their male servers will wear boots, black pants and button-down shirts with red undershirts, a uniform meant to match waitresses.

Servers will work between 24 and 32 hours a week and earn $3.25 an hour, plus tips.
