Between October 29th and November 7th of 2017, a man armed with a knife entered 5 different gas stations and convenience stores and robbed the clerk.

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office detectives began working on the cases as the description of the suspect matched in each of the 5 incidents.

The subject was a white male, he wore similar clothing including a hat and was always armed with a knife. In each case the subject would state, "I don't want to hurt you.." while committing the robbery.

In one case, the robbery of a 7-11 at 3000 49th Street North, the robbery suspect stole Florida Lottery Scratch Off tickets.

He attempted to use a third party person to cash in those tickets at another store later in the day.

The suspect, Nicholas Atari, was positively identified as the suspect who provided the stolen tickets to the third party individual. He was wearing the same hat as shown in surveillance from one of the robberies.

A photo of Atari was shown to the store clerks in each of the robberies, and Atari was selected from a photo line-up due to his eyes and eyebrows.

Atari was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery with a Deadly Weapon in each case.
