Victim identified in shooting outside Tampa hookah bar

Hillsborough County deputies have identified one of the victims in Saturday's shooting at a hookah bar in North Tampa. 

The man killed in the gunfire was 29-year-old Manuel Ortiz, Jr.

Authorities said the shooting happened around 4:15 a.m. at the Smokin' Bull Hookah Bar on E. Bearss Ave.

According to investigators, the gunman opened fire into a large crowd of people outside the establishment. It's believed that a verbal altercation led up to the shooting.

Deputies said four people suffered gunshot wounds. Three of the victims are being treated at local hospitals, but Ortiz did not survive.

The other victims' identities haven't been released.
