SR 54 reopening in Pasco County after gas leak

- State Road 54 is reopening in Pasco County after a natural gas leak, deputies say.

The highway was closed in both directions at Starkey Boulevard and neighboring businesses evacuated.

As of 11:30, Clearwater Gas was on scene and the leak had been contained.  "Limited lanes" were being opened along S.R. 54, according to the county, with more lanes expected to reopen later today.
