A suspected shoplifter apparently used his baby and its stroller to swipe a $1,800 piece of equipment from a music store in Tampa in August.

Hillsborough County deputies said the suspect - a 25 to 30-year-old Hispanic male - came into Sam Ash music store on North Dale Mabry Hwy. With him were a Hispanic female, a female child, and a baby inside the stroller he was pushing.

According to deputies, the suspect pushed the stroller into a room where DJ equipment was located. That's when they think he hid a Pioneer Mixer Limited Edition valued at $1,800 in the baby's stroller.

The suspect is a 6' tall Hispanic male, between 25 to 30-years-old, with facial hair and a medium build. He was wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey with the number 23 on the front and back, with a dark t-shirt underneath and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the stolen item is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward. Crime Stoppers may also be contacted at www.crimestopperstb.com.
