North Port police search for murdered man's vehicle

- The North Port Police Department said officers are looking for the vehicle belonging to a man found dead Saturday morning.

The body of 20-year-old Tyler Anthony Kinard, of Port Charlotte, was found in an undeveloped area near the Charlotte County line on Sawyer Circle at Richbriar Drive, around 7:30 a.m 

NPPD said Kinard's vehicle, a 2013 silver Chrysler 200 four-door sedan, with Florida tag JMUK46, is missing.

Anyone who sees the vehicle or has information about Kinard's death is asked to call 911 or Detective Chris Maki at 941-429-7323.

North Port police said the death appears to be an isolated incident and there was no apparent danger to anyone in the area.
