SUV pictured near deadly Pinellas Park hit-and-run

An image has been released of the vehicle investigators believe hit and killed a bicyclist in Pinellas Park Tuesday night.

The crash happened at 8:46 p.m. in the 12100 block of 66th Street North.

A nearby business’ surveillance system caught a glimpse of the potential suspect vehicle at a location just south of the fatal hit-and-run crash.

The vehicle is described as an older model SUV painted a tan or light color.

Police say the vehicle probably has heavy damage on the front end. It may also have a dim right rear brake light.

Pinellas Park police say 56-year-old John Robert Glenn Instasi was the bicyclist who was killed.

Anyone who believes they recognize the vehicle or knows something about the crash should call the Pinellas Park Police Department at 727-369-7864.
