A food warehouse fire sent smoke billowing into the air near Tampa International Airport for much of the day Friday.

According to Tampa Fire Rescue, the blaze at Catalina Finer Foods on West Cayuga grew to two alarms before noon. Video shared via Periscope shows several trucks on scene dumping water and foam onto the blaze.

TFR spokesperson Jason Penny said all 25 employees were accounted for and no injuries were reported.

The warehouse stored foodstuffs for the neighboring tamale business, Penny added. Damage was estimated at over $1-million.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.  Arson investigators were on the scene, but that's standard procedure for a fire of that magnitude.

Operations at the airport were not affected.
