Tampa home heavily damaged in fire
TAMPA (FOX 13) - A fire destroyed a Tampa home early Tuesday morning, officials said.
The fire broke out at a home on E. 12th Avenue shortly before 1 a.m.
When crews arrived at the scene, heavy smoke and flames were coming from the wood-frame house.
Officials said it was too dangerous for firefighters to go inside the house. They were able to knock down the fire around 1:30 a.m.
It's unclear what caused the fire. The State Fire Marshal was called in to investigate.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
