TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - Life could be getting easier for Tampa dads on diaper duty.
Tampa City Council is set to vote on an ordinance requiring changing tables in men’s restrooms within city buildings. The meeting will take place on Thursday.
The ordinance would effect new city buildings, and facilities undergoing remodeling and construction.
Councilors Luis Viera and Charlie Miranda proposed the ordinance, and estimated that adding changing tables to all eligible restrooms in city buildings would cost around $64,000.
A similar bill has been introduced on the state level, and is now being considered in the Senate.
