Tampa police rescue dog trapped under shed

- A pet dog was trapped underneath a shed, but Tampa police managed to rescue it.

On Monday night, Tampa police responded to an elderly woman’s home. She called for assistance in retrieving her dog, Queenie, police said. Queenie was clearly in distress as she was trapped under the shed.

Tampa police posted photos of the rescue on the agency’s Facebook page. When officers first arrived, the only visible body part was Queenie’s head.

Officer determined the best way to rescue her, was to “get down and dirty by digging a trench” and Queenie was successfully back in her owner’s arms.
