Tampa police searching for porch pirate suspect

- Tampa police are hoping someone from the community can help identify a porch pirate suspect.

Police released home surveillance video showing an unknown female steal a package from a home in the 200 block of East Broad Street. The incident occurred before 5 p.m. on March 21.

In the video, Tampa police highlight a tattoo on the woman’s left arm, and as she picked up the package, police freeze the frame to show a clear image of her face. The woman is seen walking off to a parked minivan in front of the home and entering the passenger seat.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1-800-873-8477.
