Three mobile homes damaged in Wimauma fire

- Three mobiles homes in Wimauma caught fire early Tuesday morning.

Hillsborough County firefighters responded to the fire on McGrady Road before 7 a.m.. Officials said the flames were tough to control at first, since it was difficult for tanker trucks to access the location and there was a lack of fire hydrants in the area.

Before sunrise, the view from SkyFOX showed a large amount of flames in the 15000 block of McGrady Road. The fire was under control within two hours, and the scorched remains of the home were left behind.

Firefighters found an injured cat in the aftermath, which has since passed away. There were no other reported injuries.
