TPD: Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run

- A man on a bicycle died after being hit by a vehicle, whose driver fled the scene in Tampa Saturday night. 

The Tampa Police Department said it happened around 9:30 at Interbay Boulevard and 6th Street South. 

Interbay Blvd. was shut down in both directions - at MacDill to the east and Sheridan Road to the west. North and South MacDill were open.

The Traffic Homicide team was investigating the scene.
