NB I-75 reopens after crash near Fowler Ave.

- Northbound I-75 was shut down near Fowler Avenue due to a serious crash that left one vehicle overturned in the middle of the roadway Monday morning.

The crash happened shortly after 6 a.m., and one person was airlifted to the hospital just before 7.

The road remained closed for several hours as officials investigated the crash and crews worked to clear the debris.

Commuters were being diverted off the interstate at the Fowler exit, and were encouraged to take I-275 as an alternate. 

The scene has since been cleared.
